Seasonal Inspiration #4 Woodland Walk

Seasonal Inspiration #4 Woodland Walk

April 10, 2018 Off By Keep It Green

A favourite woodland walk of mine, with the dog of course, is through the managed Wrabness Copperas Woods. Alongside the River Stour and the nature reserve, not to mention ‘The Essex Way’.

Today’s delight was to see the wild garlic emerging and the carpets of wood anemones.

Well worth a visit. Don’t forget to take your litter with you, even better take a bag to collect any you may see along the way. Also a great place for birdwatching, wading birds especially.

You can read more of my wanderings in these woods in an earlier post about ‘Soothing Properties of Woodland Flowers‘ where you’ll also find more photos of the flowers yet to come.

Feel free to share your thoughts and findings of this and your local woodland in the comments.
