Thinning out the Spring Radishes
An extra salad leaf treat with a kick
Got to the point where I thought the radishes needed a bit of growing space, thinning out is what the gardener calls it.
What they don’t normally tell you is that you can sometimes eat those lovely little shoots, and that most are not just for the compost heap.
So this is just a short message to say that next time you go out for a bit of thinning, think free baby salad leaf. Do a little research and you might be surprised what tasty extras can be added to you plate as your garden grows.
